These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Mettle, an AI search visibility platform. By creating an account or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these terms.

Last updated: April 14, 2026

1. Acceptance & eligibility

By registering for or using Mettle, you represent that (a) you are authorized to act on behalf of your organization, (b) you will only use the service in the course of legitimate business activities, and (c) you agree to these Terms of Use and any supplemental product documentation we provide. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the service.

2. Subscriptions & payment

Mettle is offered on a subscription basis. Fees are charged in euros at the rates displayed on our plans page at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time; please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy for full details on cancellations and refunds. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

3. Acceptable use

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree not to (a) reverse engineer or copy the service, (b) use it to process illegal, infringing, or harmful content, (c) interfere with system integrity or security, or (d) resell or publicly disclose performance data obtained through the platform without our written permission.

4. Ownership & data

Mettle retains all rights, title, and interest in the platform, documentation, and related intellectual property. Your organization retains ownership of brand prompts, uploads, and reporting configuration that you provide. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and analyze that material solely to deliver the service and to improve its performance, as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

5. Confidential information

Both parties may receive confidential information, including product roadmaps, prompts, or business metrics. Each party will use the same degree of care to protect such information as it uses for its own confidential information, but no less than reasonable care, and will only share it with employees or contractors who have a need to know and are bound by confidentiality obligations. These restrictions do not apply to information that becomes public through no fault of the receiving party.

6. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. AI-generated outputs are provided for informational purposes and may not be accurate or complete. To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim.

7. Suspension & termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate access immediately if we believe you have violated these terms, if required by law, or to protect the integrity of the service. Upon termination, obligations that by their nature should survive will remain in effect, including confidentiality, intellectual property ownership, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

8. Governing law & contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding conflict of law rules. Any disputes will be subject to the courts of Frankfurt am Main. Questions about these terms can be sent to solutions@mettlegeo.com.
